We have developed our own Close to You format, which takes into account the psychological characteristics of children. The teacher is always in front of the student, maintaining eye contact and engaging them in the subject. 3D environments and interactive characters come to life before your eyes and turn the lesson into an exciting adventure!

Why choose a Polish language course for children at AP Courses
Adaptive program
The course developers have selected materials for students of different ages: interesting educational activities for primary school children and adventure quests for teenagers.
Popular modern tools
Instead of 200-page textbooks, there is an online smart dictionary and 3D models; instead of long reading and listening exercises, there are cartoons and music; instead of outdated, boring exercises, there is communication.
Teacher
Instead of a strict supervisor, there is an open and responsive teacher who is always ready to help and answer hundreds of questions during and after class. They also guarantee results. Teach with a partner — an animated character.
Comfort
Sometimes a child is late for class, feels unwell, or simply does not want to study on a particular day. With us, you can “bend” the schedule or review the lesson recording. Or take a break from the program for a while.
Discipline and focus
Parents regularly receive feedback on their child’s results. We study Polish to gain more opportunities and feel comfortable abroad. We prioritize this goal, and it helps us in every lesson.

Frequently asked questions about Polish language courses for children
At what age can I enroll my child in a Polish language course?
Children should start learning a foreign language at the age of 4–6. This is a proven psychological fact, because at this age, a child’s frontal and parietal lobes, which are responsible for perceiving new information and understanding cause-and-effect relationships, are already sufficiently developed. However, teaching English using traditional methods is not very effective. In the early stages, it is more effective for children to use game-based methods and programs related to what interests them, and only later should they move on to a more “dry,” academic presentation of information.
What level of Polish is required to start learning?
We determine the child’s level during a trial lesson. There are no requirements to start the course — we teach children with both zero and high levels of knowledge and skills. For those starting from scratch, we have a special program called “Od Zera do Bohatera” (From Zero to Hero). Here, the child has the opportunity to take a basic, gradual, and detailed course in Polish, understand its structure, find similarities with their native language, and speak Polish with the same confidence.
Is a textbook required, and what materials are used in Polish language courses?
We study online, so we don’t use textbooks. To preserve complex theoretical points, the teacher provides links and mainly presents all the material using interactive methods. This way, students will remember more words. Instead of memorizing rules, students complete quests on an online platform, apply new words as soon as the teacher shows them, and practice the material in the time they would have spent reading.
Is it possible to learn Polish online?
Yes, our course is conducted entirely online. Distance learning has its drawbacks, such as the lack of visual contact with the teacher and the effect of physical presence, as well as a general feeling of remoteness. We have found a way to compensate for this. We call it Close to You — a format that combines the advantages of traditional teaching and online courses, namely: the teacher standing behind a glass board, focusing on the main points, and the student’s genuine interest. This increases the effectiveness of learning several times over.
How long does the Polish language course for children last?
Polish courses vary in length. If a child already has a certain level of Polish and needs to consolidate their knowledge or improve their skills, there are courses lasting one month or three months to choose from. Each course has its own advantages, which are described in the packages. If a child needs to learn Polish to a conversational level but has no prior knowledge, you can choose between a six-month and a one-year course.
How are Polish language classes conducted — individually or in groups?
We offer three options: theoretical and practical classes in group and mixed formats, and a purely individual format. This allows students to vary their workload. The format should be picked based on how the student feels most comfortable learning, so if they are used to working independently, they should pick individual classes.
Are there any native Polish speakers among the teachers?
Our teachers are fluent in spoken Polish, but there are no native Poles among our teaching staff yet. Communication with a native speaker is not always necessary. If a language, such as English, is geographically distant and does not belong to the student’s language family, it is difficult for them to understand the vocabulary and logic of speech, so communication with a native speaker makes sense. The Polish language has 70% of the common vocabulary, which means that Ukrainian speakers are 70% similar to Polish speakers.
Does a Polish language course help prepare for school in Poland?
Yes, our courses are often chosen for children who are planning to move to Poland and study in schools where speaking Polish is a must. This also works for the future. Children’s courses are a good foundation for preparing for the Egzamin Certyfikatowy z Języka Polskiego Jako Obcego in the future — an exam that allows you to live, study, and work in Poland.
How much does a Polish language course for children cost?
The cost of the package depends on the type of course, its duration, and the services available. If you pick a mixed-type course in a package for level 1, i.e., 3 months of study, the cost of one month of classes starts at 1833 UAH. In the annual package, the price for this month is more favorable: 1650 UAH.
Is it possible to attend a trial Polish language class?
We conduct trial classes precisely so that students can familiarize themselves with the Close to You format and determine whether our teaching style suits them. These classes are free of charge. You have the opportunity to check the expertise of the teacher, understand how our methods work, and see our unique way of applying them. To register, go to the form at the top of this page.
